The Sun Inn is a beautiful 15th Century pub in the heart of the historic town of Clun, South Shropshire. A grade two listed building, the Inn is of cruck construction with a wealth of exposed oak beams and original charm. Steve and Lin welcome you to sup, dine and sleep in one of England's finest traditional inns.

They serve at least three traditional real ales, as well as the usual selection of keg and bottle beers, wines and soft drinks. Walkers are welcome. Well behaved dogs are welcome in our historic snug bar.

The Sun Inn serves home-made food made with good quality fresh ingredients, locally supplied wherever possible. Whether its soup, a sandwich and real ale that’s required or a three course meal accompanied by a good bottle of wine, we cater for all.

Their accommodation includes two double en-suite bedrooms and one twin room in the Old Stable Block which is quietly situated at the rear of the inn. The Granary is an exceptional en-suite double apartment at the rear of the Inn. Tariff from £30 single inclusive of breakfast.

The joint show here comprises: Josie Crompton - painter; Bronwyn Thomas - mixed media; Janet Manifold - sculpture
